The UBC Dairy Education and Research Centre in Agassiz, B.C., opened its doors to a new residence building. The residences will allow students and researchers from the province, and around the world, to live on site. The space promotes collaboration through community spaces. Designed by Oliver Lang of Vancouver’s LWPAC, the highly insulated envelope and geothermal system provide a low-energy building with no on-site carbon emissions.
