Procure to Pay Project

In the summer of 2016, Financial Operations conducted a formal review of procurement activities across faculties and functional areas at UBC. We heard from the community that it can be difficult, manual, and time-consuming to make purchases and payments on time. We are committed to making procurement easy, seamless and efficient. We have developed a plan of action to improve procurement across the university.

We have already identified quick wins to begin to improve cycle time for complete and standard requests. Our next step will be to share the results of the review with campus stakeholders.
